File processing

The CSV and XLSX repair tools read and repair your file in your browser. This includes Walmart error-report workbooks. The contents of an uploaded file—including filenames, worksheet names, cell contents, store product names, SKUs, identifiers, prices, image references, formulas, and other file fields—are not uploaded to or stored by B. Arthur Tools, Google Analytics, Stripe, or the B. Arthur Industries Lab. The tool may temporarily keep a repaired copy in this browser while Stripe Checkout is completed; it is not placed in server storage.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment, contact, device, and transaction information needed to complete, secure, and document your payment under Stripe's Privacy Policy. B. Arthur Tools does not receive your full card number. We retain an order token, Stripe Checkout Session identifier, payment status and time, tool and landing-page identifiers, attribution fields when present, and a limited repair summary so we can verify payment, deliver the download, prevent duplicate transactions, provide support, and maintain business records.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and whether the tools lead to completed purchases. The Google tag can collect page URLs and titles, referring source or campaign, interactions such as page views, scrolls and outbound clicks, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an internet address, and Google Analytics browser identifiers. Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy.

After Stripe verifies a payment, our server may also send Google Analytics a purchase event through Google's Measurement Protocol. That event contains a transaction identifier, purchase value, currency, tool item identifier and name, quantity, and the Google Analytics client and session identifiers needed to associate the purchase with the related visit. It does not contain your name, email address, full card number, uploaded CSV, or the store product data inside that file.

Internal product analytics

We record limited events in the B. Arthur Industries Lab to understand whether the tools work: page visits, file selection, successful file validation, completed analysis, presence of auto-fixable errors, checkout, server-verified payment, completed repair, download, and optional import-result feedback. These records can include randomly generated event and browser-session identifiers, landing page, referring campaign, coarse file-size range, file type, issue or row count, number of repaired cells, blocker count, repair-category codes, time, and a coarse classification such as human, internal, or automated traffic. A request's browser information and internal-browser marker may be examined to make that classification, but the raw browser string and internet address are not included in the Lab event. These records do not include filenames, worksheet names, cell contents, CSV or XLSX contents, store product data, checkout email, or card information.

Browser storage and similar technologies

We use browser storage to keep a random analytics identifier, prevent duplicate page events, temporarily retain a repaired CSV or XLSX file while you complete Stripe Checkout, and make a paid download available when you return. Pending file data remains on that device until browser storage is cleared or the browser removes it. An internal-use cookie may mark B. Arthur Industries testing traffic. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers as described in Google's documentation. Clearing this site's browser storage removes locally retained identifiers and pending paid-download data and may make an undownloaded repair unavailable.

Service providers and retention

We use hosting and security infrastructure, Google Analytics, Stripe, and the B. Arthur Industries Lab to operate, secure, measure, and support the service. Hosting and security providers necessarily process ordinary request information such as internet address, browser information, requested page, and time. We retain our analytics and transaction records only as long as reasonably needed for measurement, fraud prevention, support, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Google and Stripe control their own retention practices under their respective policies.

Your choices and requests

You can use the sample without uploading your own file. You can limit Google Analytics through browser privacy controls or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with you. Because most product analytics use random identifiers rather than a name or account, we may not be able to identify a particular record without the relevant identifier. We may retain transaction information when required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
